Social Bite's Cold Journey Part II

We're delighted to be working on Social Bite's Christmas campaign again. Following the exceptional success of last year, the 2024 appeal kicks off this November with a threefold investment.

We know a thing or two about cold campaigns at Christmas for charities working to end homelessness, so it was a proud achievement when in 2023 we delivered a highly positive ROI from the cold recruitment campaign in its first year. Not to be sniffed at, as those in this field will know.

The 2024 campaign sees an expansion of last year's successful channels, integrated audio, door drops, inserts, and print, alongside new additions, including programmatic video, to fuel campaign coverage. The charity has a friend and supporter in cycling champion Chris Hoy, who features in this year's campaign, which will have a further positive impact on response. 

Social Bite started as a coffee shop in Edinburgh in 2012 and has since grown to become one of the UK's largest providers of free food and drink for those experiencing homelessness. Their campaign to end homelessness has pioneered several unique initiatives including the Worlds Largest Sleep Out, the building of the Social Bite Village of 11 two-bed houses, and Scotland's Housing First programme which secured 830 mainstream flats across Scotland to provide permanent homes for those without them.
